Charles Coste can carry the flame of the Summer Olympics in Paris for 100 years, more than 76 years after he became Olympic champion, the insidethegames.biz portal wrote.

The sportsman, who will celebrate his hundredth birthday next week, Thursday, was a member of the French quartet that won the cyclists' pursuit team race at the 1948 London pentathlon games, and as the oldest living French Olympic champion, he was invited to the 2024 pentathlon relay.
