The capital police chief ordered a four-day raid for the coming weekend.

According to the signs, the Hungarian police are aware that the manhunt last February in the capital could even be repeated. The police chief of Budapest issued the XXXIV of 1994 on the Police. on the basis of § 30 of the Act, from February 8, 2024 at 0:00 a.m. to February 12, 2024 at 8:00 a.m., he ordered increased control over the entire area of Budapest, the purpose of which is to prevent, detect, and interrupt illegal acts, as well as to maintain public order and public safety.

The goal of the four-day raid is to prevent, detect, and interrupt illegal acts, as well as to maintain public order and public safety, and not to attract motorists, as some portals have already announced.

One of the most important points of the police announcement about next week's four-day raid is the timing of the raid: it will last from 0:00 on February 8 to 8:00 on the 12th. Let's examine what is associated with this time interval? The Day of Honor (Tag der Ehre in German): the commemoration of the attempt to break out of Buda by the German and Hungarian units on the evening of February 11, 1945, it is also one of the biggest annual events of the Hungarian far-right. As well as the series of brutal attacks by antifa.

Last year's manhunt in Budapest, organized by the far-left antifa assault squad, the German Hammerband, fell precisely during this period.

Between February 8 and 12, at eight locations, nine people were brutally beaten to death in the pack by antifas attacking from behind. They crushed the bones and skulls of their victims with vipers, iron pipes, and hammers. Three attackers suffered life-threatening injuries, the others escaped with broken bones.

The cruelty of the antifa attacking in groups of 5-8 is characterized by the fact that they first hit their victims on the back of the head from behind, then swooped down on their targets on the ground like locusts and hit them wherever they could. The purpose of the calculated beating, which lasted exactly 30 seconds, was to cause as much damage as possible.

It is no coincidence that, according to the prosecutor's office, the Italian woman Ilaria Salis, who participated in three attacks, was asked by the prosecutor to impose 11 years in prison in case of a confession and a waiver of the trial. The Italian woman receives a four-degree detention. According to the law, he must be transported outside the prison in handcuffs and on a chain. This is how they were taken to the Capital Court on Monday.

Due to the series of brutal attacks detailed in the indictment, Salis is charged with 3 counts of attempted life-threatening bodily harm committed in a criminal organization - in 2 cases as an accomplice, in 1 case as an accessory to crime.

Her father, who was present at the hearing, told the left-wing Hungarian press that he was proud of his daughter's actions and that he supported her in everything she did during the antifa's struggles. The left-wing Hungarian and Italian press, Italian political actors, and the antifa launched a sharp attack against Hungary and the government, saying: we are treating Ms. Salis inhumanely.

The perpetrators of the Antifa attacks grin, they don't consider themselves guilty

After the foreign politically motivated attack and the lies about the housing conditions, the experts of the penitentiary presented to the press Salis' cell in the Gyorkogsi utca bv institute.

Even the biased media did not find anything extraordinary in the prison conditions.

These are extremely aggressive criminals - said Bence Rétvári to the Hír TV news station regarding the artificially created scandal. He said that it cannot be a coincidence that György Magyar, a member of the Hungarian left-wing political elite, is among the lawyers of the perpetrators. The political state secretary for the interior added: the Hungarian government has not supported street violence before, and will not continue to do so.

After all this history, let's move on to what can be expected next week. There are more and more signs that far-left anti-fa may come to Hungary again, so to speak, to teach people with right-wing sentiments to be morons.

What is known about the preparations is that there will be a peaceful demonstration organized by the Hungarian Anti-Fascists on the 10th. According to some reports, violent anti-fas may even settle there. Those who can also appear at the Autonomy movement's anti-fascist demonstration against the glorification of the Nazis. At the same time, an organized, planned, pre-rehearsed manhunt copying last year's may also take place.

This is how the action of the police and the four-day raid throughout Budapest can be understood in order to maintain public safety.

Antifa is already recruiting for the Day of Honor, but the extreme right is not idle either

It is important to emphasize that the police will not be hunting motorists, as some portals proclaim in their headlines in order to get clicks: PUBLIC SECURITY action is being prepared. And the targets are the extremists who have shown aggression in the past - whether they are from the extreme left or the extreme right.

By the way, the BRFK has already banned two far-right commemorations, but there is no obstacle to holding the traditional Eruption Performance Tour if it complies with Hungarian laws.
