The 6 percent increase at the beginning of year z also applies to the 13th month pension: in the case of an average pension, therefore, HUF 230,000 will be received twice, for a total of HUF 460,000, reminded Eszter Vitályos.
Due to the large amount of payments, Magyar Posta will also start delivering pensions by mail earlier than usual, already on Monday, said the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation in a video published on the government's Facebook page.
" The government keeps its promises to the elderly: every year we guarantee the inflation-adjusted pension increase, we have returned the 13th monthly pension taken away by the left, we have reduced inflation and the rise in food prices, and we are doing everything to protect the utility cuts that Brussels and the left want to delete. We keep these commitments even in the current difficult times of war," said Eszter Vitályos.
