The Belgian minister was surprisingly honest when he told how the terrorist organization gets its hands on Europeans' money.

Whether European money goes to Palestinian terrorists has long been a subject of debate in the European Union. Olivér Várhelyi, the European Union Commissioner responsible for enlargement and neighborhood policy - Hungarian, by the way - stopped an EU aid package to Palestine even after the October 7 terrorist attack, because he was not sure that not a single euro cent of it would actually go to terrorists.

His intention was ultimately thwarted by other members of the European Commission, and a Moroccan-born French Green representative of the European Parliament launched a campaign for his resignation.

Michael Freilich, who represents the Belgian conservative party belonging to the European Conservatives and Reformers party family, also targeted by Fidesz - not to mention the country's most popular political force - in the Belgian parliament has entered this debate. According to Ynet's report, Freilich asked the Belgian government about how the terrorist organization Hamas operates in the country - and received a surprising answer.

Justice Minister Paul Van Tigchelt said: " Hamas is active in Belgium through a network of front companies and participates in fundraising activities that ultimately channel the money to Hamas under the guise of humanitarian aid for the Palestinians."

With this, the Belgian Minister of Justice confirms the assumptions of the Hungarian government and the Hungarian commissioner: the amounts sent as aid from Europe may very well reach the terrorists.

After the Minister of Justice revealed that Hamas front organizations were involved in fundraising and lobbying, Freilich immediately found a Belgian lobby organization called EUPAC (Council for European-Palestinian Political Relations), which officially deals with youth music, culture and sports programs in Morocco, but which happens to be three Palestinians and its leader, Majed Al-Zeer, was seen in 2008 with Háled Mesál at the time, and in 2015 with Ismáíl Hanije, the current number one Hamas leader.

According to EUPAC's own admission, in Belgian politics it is "working to invest in the importance of the geostrategic position of the Middle East region" as part of the "liberation of the Palestinians from occupation". To this end, they meet with European politicians and hold seminars, campaigns, and workshops.
