It is József Steinbach's personal conviction that in the current situation, they have in mind the further authentic service of the Reformed Church, which is why they pray and act.

József Steinbach, the bishop of the Transdanubia Reformed Church District, also assured Zoltán Balog, the pastoral president of the Synod of the Hungarian Reformed Church (MRE), of his support in his decisions, "no matter what".

József Steinbach wrote in his statement sent to MTI on Thursday night: the national deacon-general meeting convened for Tuesday by the board of the MRE council was completely closed. On it

all the bishops and archbishops present spoke, but none of them voted to support the president of the council.

He put it as it was during the closed meeting

said are not public, "none of us is authorized to provide information about the comments".

He said: Like Dániel Pásztor, the bishop of the Tiszáninnen Reformed Church District, he acknowledges and supports the decisions made by the pastor president of the synod in this situation - whatever they may be.

József Steinbach added: it is his personal conviction that in the current situation, they are keeping in mind the further authentic service of the Reformed Church, which is why they are praying and acting.

During his 16-year episcopal service in the Transdanubian Reformed Church District, "we did everything with unity and humility to carry the cause of those in difficult situations, the abused, and the needy with the love learned from Jesus Christ; and with this Christian love, let's build bridges and work for peace," wrote József Steinbach.
