The dollar die had already been cast, the demonstration had to be held in any case, despite the fact that they were unable to formulate either demands or goals.

The question in the title is actually the answer to why the opposition outsourced to the influencers will not be able to carve out any tangible success from the otherwise legitimate social indignation bubbling up in the wake of the pardon-gate.

David Pressman recently hosted influencers and celebrities at the American embassy's "recruiting" dinner, after which it was only a matter of time before the great social grievance that only influencers and celebrities can articulate in the public space closest to the Fidesz headquarters was formed.

The ingredients of the public Molotov cocktail were at hand: following Zoltán Balog's lobbying efforts, Katalin Novák signed Endre K.'s request for clemency, according to press reports, the deputy who had been protecting institutions and directors since 2011 instead of child protection was released.

However, it was not possible to stir up real scandal and real anger from the case, as the political community that gave the government majority drew the only acceptable conclusion in a few minutes, and both the President of the Republic and the former Minister of Justice who signed the pardon request resigned or retired from public life.

A quick and correct situation recognition is an essential skill for political long-distance running; while the Minutemen came up with ideas, the government side made the furor pointless.

But the dollar die had already been cast, the demonstration had to be held anyway, despite the fact that they were unable to formulate either demands or goals.

What do we want? Something! When? Now!

– this is what it would look like in meme form, but the organizers proved to be somewhat more creative and persistent than that. In the absence of an identifiable direct and concrete goal, they returned to the biggest grievance of the upper middle class living in the Belpest–Pesthidegkút–Etyek heart chakra, that

they are very tired of bad things.

And really. They stood there proudly, their waists straight, declaring in uncontroversial voices that they had had enough of the bad things. Bad things are not tolerated anymore, Pressman and Hungary's favorite entertainment star, Azahriah, also told stories about the bad things that happened to her in high school, and the other speakers also mentioned good things that they would replace the bad things with.

Great people, great passions, one remembers the colorful revolutions that covered North Africa and half of Asia in blood, because there were other grievances besides the bad things. And other demands beyond that there should be no bad things.

Well, actually I understand that on the one hand and on the other. On the one hand, there needs to be some great and common grievance, which will lead to the overthrow of the government by the worker-peasant united front, in addition to the precise management of the social theory colleges, and on the other hand, the embassy's salmon dish is delicious. However, it impresses everyone when the American ambassador personally acts as if he is interested in the delinquent's opinion on anything. Thirdly, something needs to be done with the official and professional opposition, which has not managed to find a foothold in Fidesz for more than a decade, even though the elections are upon us again.

And yet the whole thing was wrapped in some kind of child protection mask with oblivious cheekiness. It is as if children in Hungary should be protected from the government, not from pedophiles, ephebophiles, and cute aunties preparing for kindergartens and schools.

And this is where Friday night's heat wave failed, because even in the Marvel multiverse there is no Earth where child protection sentiments can be channeled to the left dominated by trans-activist-child-sexualizing progressives and green lunatics.

They don't have the means to do that because they've been robbed; because they knelt before all the perverts who defined themselves as an identity group.

When Orbán called children a public good, because children are not objects of pleasure or tools for parental self-realization, but unavoidable conditions for the survival of the Hungarian state and the Hungarian nation, there was a huge outcry on the progressive left. They screamed that the state should not interfere in the lives of families, that Orbán should resign and the rest of the usual mandatory practices at this time. A few years later, the same people shout that the state should intervene in the education of children, since the recruitment base of LGBTQ groups is rather sparse. But at least they should be raised to be open to gay relationships, otherwise pedophiles and ephebophiles will remain lonely, which is a greater tragedy for them than when Aston Martin does not win the equestrian polo championship in Etyek.

They were there one by one on Friday night at Hősök Square.

Then there are those harmful climate idiots who think gay people should be rewarded for not giving birth to planet-killing little carbon footprints. Instead, they keep a dog, because obviously they pick up the shit after them with their little pretzels, but anyway they stuff the excrement of the only carnivorous creature in the "family" into a plastic bag.

Well, this is the company that should be left glued to the asphalt, because they are irredeemable, and in return they are a public danger, but they also demonstrated there on Friday in Hősök square.

And who else?

Sure, those gays who think that children are an article of pleasure and that LGBTQ people have the right to consume them.

In other words, those who demand that the state take care of the child for them, should take the doll from someone so that they can have it as well, since they have the right to it. Anyway, they really have the right to it, and this right can be exercised by having sex with the opposite sex and then waiting 9 months. But on Friday night, they did not protest, but demonstrated in Hősök Square.

Since the opposition are the prisoners, allies, servants and public policy executors of these groups, it is certainly not credible at all if they put the protection of children next to the red star on their flag. And it doesn't help if a couple of friends, relatives and business partners who are mom bloggers are invited to the stage.

The last authentic demonstration and performance of the Hungarian left was the box on Kossuth square, into which they inarticulately yelled Ooooooobaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally. No need to complicate it. If they want to complicate it, they have to throw away their past years and go back in their heads to the 20th century. to the social-democratic-liberal course of the second half of the 20th century, when freedom and equality did not yet mean representing the interests of perverts and criminals. It's just that nowadays they detect this kind of thing as fascism, and to their heart's content, they would demonstrate against it in Heroes Square.
