The director has been working on the film Megalopolis for several years, which is an unprecedented giga project made with new technology and rich in virtual effects.

In addition, Francis Ford Coppola finances the movie set in New York and about an architect from his own pocket. It is said that he even sold his wine estate in California in order to have the financial framework.

The director wanted to surprise the orchestra on the last day of his stay in Hungary and, as he wrote, he highly values ​​the musicality and friendliness experienced in Hungary, so they were able to play the Hungarian National Anthem under his direction.

"I appreciated the musicality and friendliness of the Hungarian band so much that I wanted to express my gratitude when I met them on the last day of the recording. Standing on the conductor's platform, I picked up the baton as if I wanted to lead them in a musical performance. Of course, I wasn't prepared for anything, but I assumed they knew how to play their national anthem, and I whispered, 'What tempo is that?'" he reported about the extraordinary experience, to which he attached a video.
