The fallen prime minister, the chairman of the Democratic Coalition, gave his jubilee speech, dubbed the twentieth year evaluation.

A few minutes late, Ferenc Gyurcsány's annual review speech began with Örömóda instead of the Hungarian national anthem. The event was opened by Balázs Barkóczi, the spokesperson of DK, who asked the audience to stand in silence for a minute, commemorating the fact that Russia attacked Ukraine two years ago today. The politician quickly noted that Viktor Orbán supports the aggressor.

The president of the Democratic Coalition sees 2023 as a difficult year for the world and Hungary's worst year for a long time, "if there was an international order, this order has now collapsed. So that we Hungarians do not have an easy situation, it turned out that the government and the democrats see the causes and consequences of the upheaval of the international order differently. We think differently about Russia, Ukraine, the United States, Europe and China".

Ferenc Gyurcsány called it understandable if a country tries to maneuver between the great powers, "but maneuvering cannot be treason. When the government manoeuvres, so to speak, in a sly manner, it is not in fact sly, but betrays Hungarian history since Saint Stephen, 1956, and our allies. It betrays Hungary's financial, scientific and professional interests".

Gyurcsány called Fidesz a government of crime, a pedophile government. According to the former prime minister, the resignation of Katalin Novák and Judit Varga is far from the end of the pardon case, which made Viktor Orbán the prime minister of crime and the government the government of crime. According to him, the prime minister has permanently lost the right to be seen as an honest person. In his speech, Gyurcsány repeatedly called the prime minister a "pedophile caresser" and described the government as a "pedophile network".
