Based on this, he should consider resigning from his parliamentary mandate.

Since yesterday, there has also been a court verdict that the DK representative is a rowdy criminal, as László Varju was found guilty of disorderly conduct, physical assault and election fraud by the Capital Court. The court also found the disorderly conduct and bodily harm due to the 2018 brawl at the MTVA headquarters, when the left-wing politician injured one of the security guards.

László Varju can be removed from public life due to a conflict of interest due to unworthiness, the house rules of the parliament allow for this

- said János Zila on the M1.

The analyst of the Fundamental Rights Center drew attention to the fact that, based on the court's information, any representative of the legislature can initiate the conflict of interest of the DK politician, so the representatives must decide on the left-liberal representative's mandate within 15 days.

László Varju did not resign from his representation after the partly final court verdict, but he admitted in the ATV studio that the retention of his mandate had become uncertain.

"There is no doubt that it will become debatable, which, of course, from a parliament with a Fidesz majority, I think it can happen," said the left-wing politician.

The court ruled: László Varju from DK is guilty

The Capital Court found the rowdy criminal politician not only guilty of a crime against the electoral order and disorderly conduct, but also guilty of physical assault, as he acted offensively against the security service protecting the MTVA headquarters in 2018, causing one of them an injury that took eight days to heal.

"It was a defiantly anti-community, an open opposition to the norms of social coexistence, which was capable of causing offense"

- said Géza Szalai, the judge of the Capital Court.

In justifying the verdict, the judicial council also pointed out that the opposition representatives had no right to enter the MTVA studio.

"Representatives do not have the right to have their statements read spontaneously on public television when they want, so this behavior, to enter the studio, was clearly outside the scope of asking for information and being in the building."

said the judge.

Although the riotous criminal politician announced an appeal against the conviction for bodily harm, the Capital Court of Appeals made a final decision on the other charges.

It is no coincidence that Máté Kocsis, the faction leader of Fidesz, called on László Varju to leave public life after the verdict, just like the momentous András Fekete-Győr, who was also sentenced by the court a few days ago -

said on the M1 jr. Zoltán Lomnici.

According to the constitutional lawyer, the two left-liberal politicians should also consider resigning for moral reasons.

"It is clear that the moral and political responsibility that arises, for example, from breaking an oath, and which can be easily established in this case, or in these two cases, can already induce a process in which the representative reconsiders his situation in terms of a self-correction process and immediately renounces, for example, his representative status"

said the legal advisor of Szadvég.

After the damning decision, Ferenc Gyurcsány (DK) went on the attack again and threatened the judges again on his social media page. He wrote: "The court punished Varju Laci in a dishonorable, unfair sentence." Then he added:

"Being a witness is a duty. And the moment will come when they cannot escape such responsibility"

– referring to the participants in the justice system.
