Historian Zsuzsanna Borvendég, an employee of the Hungarian Research Institute, is running in the colors of the Mi Hazánk Movement in the summer European Parliament (EP) elections. He stated that, in his view, accepting the nomination would have a good effect on the national side, and would never harm the right-wing political community.

Party president and faction leader László Toroczkai is in first place on the Mi Hazánk Mozgalom European Parliament list, followed by deputy president Dóra Dúró - it was announced at the party's press conference in Budapest on Wednesday. However, they made it clear: they do not want to leave after the European Parliament elections, they will continue their careers as members of the Hungarian Parliament; published by MTI.

According to the party's statement: Dr. Zsuzsanna Borvendég, Hungary's most popular historian, is Mi Hazánk's number one European Parliament candidate. He has already proven his national commitment with his scientific work, and he is the most suitable person to fight against the global plundering of our country in Brussels. The mother of three is not a party member, but earned the trust of our community based on her outstanding work in other areas of life.

"It is an immense honor to be invited to the presidency of the Mi Hazánk Movement, since - depending on the election results - I can represent Hungary and the Hungarian nation in the European Union parliament.

I can't imagine a more noble task. As a member of the European Parliament, I can be right in the middle of one of those network systems, where I will have the opportunity to fight directly, face to face, with the forces that strive for national self-determination, our hard-earned freedom, and our traditional values

Zsuzsanna Borvendég wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.

On the social media page of the candidate, he also shared an interview with him, Gábor Mező . In this Zsuzsanna Borvendég said that

according to his view, accepting the nomination will have a good effect on the national side. As he put it, he would never harm the right-wing political community.

"In a multi-party democracy, there should be options, and currently there is none. This leads to distortions. It does no one any good, especially not those in power. The political formations on the left-liberal side represent an incomprehensible level, it is unnecessary to talk about them. However, we have to somehow send signals about distortions, this is the responsibility of all Hungarian scribes. In the course of our history, we were faced with the betrayal of the intelligentsia several times, I don't want such times to come again. We have to prevent this by all means," stated the candidate of the Mi Hazánk Movement.
