YBL6 Art Square
I am who I am - Hungarian visual arts after 1945 / Selection from the Jáky collection
In the YBL6 Art Space opened in the South Palace of the Várkert Bazar, you can see a selection of one of the most well-known collections of the Hungarian art collection today. The 120 paintings that are part of the Jáky collection present the history of Hungarian fine art after 1945 through six thematic rooms. The special feature of the exhibition is that, regardless of stylistic trends, it is able to show the signs of the dialogue between East and West in all the dominant or hidden works of art of the period.
The exhibition can be viewed free of charge without registration.

UP THE GALYA - MUSICAL STAND-UP EVENING
The germination of Petőfi's revolutionary poetry in today's land with poems, rhyming songs, rhyming poems 200+1 of the poet's birth. on the occasion of its anniversary - with joint guitar and accordion accompaniment.
In the performance, Föltámadott a tenger will be performed, We are talking again and we are just talking, A thought hurts me..., A kurta pub at the end of the village... and many of the poet's well-known poems. There is also a place for classical recitation, but slightly reinterpreted, spiced with some wry humor.
"Although there is water below, it seems that today's galleys are no longer the sinking variety. They survive the waves so surely that perhaps there is no sea storm that could push them into the depths. Well, how can we believe that water is the master? Who can we believe? And where is Petőfi now? If you've forgotten to die."

Mysterious history - Beyond the revolution: everyday life in reform-era Pest and Buda
Soldier Csaba
12:00, 16:00
March 15, 1848 was a turning point in Hungarian history. Everyone knows the events of the revolution in Pest-Buda, but what was Pest and Buda like at the time? Who lived here? What social strata, what religion and what nationality are the people? How did their everyday life go, how did they dress, what did they do, what set the framework for their social interactions, what were the public spaces where they lived a communal life, and what did their homes look like? Historian Csaba Katona's presentation, instead of the "main characters" of history, this time presents the world of ordinary people, the everyday life.

Historical Night - Improvisation performance

The Momentán Society recalls the events and historical characters of the 1848-49 revolution and freedom struggle connected to Buda Castle. With the interactive performance, we bring to life the most exciting moments and the most significant figures of Hungarian history and bring them closer, feeding on the ideas of the audience.
"Using the tools of improvisation, we tour the events and historical figures of the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence connected to Buda Castle. An interactive historical performance, where the most exciting moments and significant figures of Hungarian history are brought to life and brought to life, feeding on the ideas of the audience. In the historical RögvEst performance, the actors - using their literary and historical education, dramaturgical sense and improvisational skills - bring life to the otherwise difficult to absorb set of information. Life pictures, real and imagined scenes, dramatic monologues, enlarged moments, split stage, alternative scenes for a situation - just some of the many stage solutions that can serve as a means of a dramatic approach to the topic. Humor, lightness, wit - and real depths and poignant emotions at the same time: we magnify the fateful moments of our historical heroes and turn them into theater. The host of the performance forms a continuous bridge between the audience and the performers. Based on the audience's ideas, following their real interests, and incorporating their questions into the course of the performance, we focus on one figure at a time, at one moment at a time. The ideal duration of the presentation: 40-50 minutes."
