The management and employees of the hotel are grateful that there were no injuries and that the fire was successfully stopped by the firemen.
A fire broke out in the Hotel Silvanus in Visegrád on Saturday morning. The firefighters were called to Panoráma út, who marched to the scene with large forces and fought the flames for hours. More than 200 people had to be evacuated, luckily there were no injuries. The hotel first posted on social media shortly after the fire broke out, and later in the evening they made a statement about what had happened.
Hotel Silvanus published a post on Facebook on Saturday evening, in which they thanked the fire department and all other units for their tireless work, and also thanked local restaurants for their help.
As they write, they are going through terrible hours, but they are thankful that no one was injured and that the fire was successfully stopped by the firefighters.

The damage is significant
As we previously reported , the fourth floor of the Hotel Silvanus in Visegrád caught fire and burned in its entirety. The flames also spread to the roof structure in some places, the firefighters extinguished the fire with forces corresponding to the highest alarm level and with several water jets.
The fire affected an area of about 200-300 square meters inside the hotel, and about 230 people were staying in the hotel.
The director of the hotel, Róbert Pintér, said that the fire was probably caused by an electrical problem, which started on the fourth floor of the hotel. He added that there was significant damage and that the lightweight roof should be replaced.

Accommodation of the guests is underway, but for the time being the majority of them are waiting in the surrounding buildings and in the warming buses provided in the parking lot of the citadel

Nobody was injured
Róbert Pintér pointed out that the guests were waiting in the nearby parking lots, where buses and hot tubs were at their disposal. He also emphasized that
GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES WERE SAFE DURING THE FIRE, NO PERSONAL INJURY OCCURRED.
Pál Győrfi, the communications manager of the National Ambulance Service, said that three rescue helicopters and several ambulances were called to the scene. With the help of disaster management, a bus was provided as a warm-up area for those leaving the building.
