The official inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok has begun in Buda Castle. The new head of state has already arrived at Szent György Square, where public dignitaries are present, including Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The ceremony begins with the military salute of the honorary flag battalion and Count Ferenc Nádasdy's hussar division, followed by the entry of the historical flags and the blessing of the historical churches
It ends with the ceremonial speech of the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok.
Folk singer Hanga Kacsó sang the National Anthem, and Anna Kubik recited Tibor Gyurkovics' poem Nemzet.
