The children went to kindergarten crying when the suspect in the Újbuda pedophile case was on duty - this is what a parent told Hír TV. He also said that not only the parents, but also the kindergarten teachers expressed their concerns about the man's behavior. In the past few days, it has also been revealed that the suspect's company signed a consulting contract worth several million forints with the left-wing municipality of Újbuda, but it is not possible to know exactly what tasks the contract covers.

In a kindergarten in Újbuda, one of the workers was able to desex with a small child. The man was arrested on suspicion of sexual coercion and is currently being held at the Judicial Observation and Psychiatric Institute. The incident caused great indignation, all the more so because, according to press reports, the man was able to stay in his job despite his parents' complaints because his foster mother held an important position as director of human services in the left-wing municipality of Újbuda.

He was also honored, his work was recognized with the Pro Urbe award last year, according to the rationale, in recognition of his four decades of work for public education.

In a letter to M1, the municipality of Újbuda denied that this is why the suspect could have remained a kindergarten worker. As it was written, the connection stated in the question or any indication of this did not arise, and no reports or complaints were received by the municipality in this regard.

In the meantime, it turned out that the suspect's company has a multi-million HUF consulting contract with the municipality of Újbuda, but it is not possible to know what tasks the company was entrusted with. DK mayor Imre László gave an evasive answer to Hír TV's question about this.

According to press reports, the parents indicated years ago that there was a problem with the kindergarten worker. This is supported by the parent who spoke anonymously to Hír TV and talked about how the children went to kindergarten crying.

"It came back from several places that children who are completely used to the kindergarten do not come in crying in the morning, they certainly, that if he was the one on duty, they went in crying," said the parent, adding that not only the parents, but the kindergarten teachers also expressed their concerns.

"Three years ago, there were already complaints about this person from the parents' side, as well as from the kindergarten teacher's side, who indicated that it might not be good for him to be among the children. But as we can see, he spent six years there, so nothing happened in the matter"

said the parent.

István Simicskó, the faction leader of the KDNP, also raised the responsibility of the temporary Anna Orosz. The district's parliamentary representative performed the duties of deputy mayor in the district between 2019 and 2022, so he addressed several questions to him.

"Did you learn about the case during your deputy mayorship, or did you consciously stay away from the parents' complaints? The case highlighted that the supervision of the institutions in the district does not work properly. What role did Anna Orosz play in this? Therefore, will he and his successor, deputy mayor Attila Erhardt, take responsibility for this?" - asked István Simicskó.

Momentum's parliamentary representative said: the most important thing is that the municipality communicated transparently - it did not hide anything, terminated the employment of the employee concerned, cooperated with the police, ordered an internal investigation and convened an extraordinary board meeting. However, he did not respond to the questions of the faction leader of the KDNP.
