Kosovo decided on Wednesday to ban the use of Serbian identity cards in the country. According to the Serbian president, Pristina is planning an all-out attack on Northern Kosovo, reports Mandiner based on a report from the Vojvodina newspaper Szabad Magyar Szó .

As of today, the situation in Serbia and Kosovo has completely changed - this is how Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic began his press conference after meeting with Miroslav Lajčak, the EU's special representative responsible for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The Serbian president stated: Serbia has always been ready to continue the dialogue, on the other hand, the institutions in Pristina decided on Wednesday to ban the use of Serbian identity cards in Kosovo. They also decided to continue to stick the number plates of Serbian vehicles with stickers. It is clear that they do not want to sit at the same table, there is no question of dialogue, he added. According to the information, those who have cars with Serbian license plates can re-register their vehicles until September 30. If they are not willing to do so, it will simply be lost to them.

Vucic assessed the developments as indicating that Pristina is planning an all-out attack on northern Kosovo. The promotion will be implemented by the first of October at the latest.

" Our response will be sober but deadly, but we will not carry out any military operations. We have been looking for a compromise solution for ten years, but no one else wants it, their goal is only to chase our people, "said Vucic, who believes that we are looking forward to an interesting summer and autumn.

He added that he was very curious about who was in charge of all this, and then asked them to stop their arrogance. Vucic emphasized that his biggest request to Serbia is not to expel the Serbs from their homeland, then added that Pristina will think three times before acting.

Negotiations between the two countries will continue in July.
