The voice of peace usually falls short in the struggle.
The voice of peace is immortal. That is, eternal. The vast majority of people know what that means. What peace means and what war means.
The voice of peace is inaudible, i.e. it cannot be heard, because it is silenced, silenced.
The voice of peace is quiet. War is loud.
The voice of peace is gentle. War is wild.
The voice of peace is pious. War is cunning.
The voice of peace is constructive. Destroyer of war.
The voice of peace is human. War is inhumane.
The voice of peace is sincere. War is deceptive.
The voice of peace is pro-life. War is a killer.
The voice of peace is weak. War is strong.
Hope is the voice of peace. Hopelessness belongs to war.
The voice of peace is the voice of life. The sound of war is the sound of death.
The voice of peace is barely audible. War is always raging.
As a result of all this, the voice of peace is usually inferior in the struggle.
The voice of peace in the form of a well-formulated Peace Declaration cannot appear in a way that is recognizable to the general Hungarian public either in 2015 or now, in 2024, because the newspapers and internet sites do not publish it.
It remains unspeakable, incommunicable. And they don't even justify it. In fact, they don't praise the voice of peace for an answer.
I don't think this is an individual editor's decision. But I think that they silence the voice of peace in accordance with some kind of unwritten instruction. Even now, in the anteroom of another world war. Even when the leaders of the Hungarian government speak very correctly about the importance of an immediate ceasefire and peace negotiations.
I try in vain to figure out the reason for the silence, I don't know.
If anyone knows the answer, please let me know! Even before the hall door is blown down.
