The EU elections are coming, the platforms are trying to limit the national side in every way.

The platform limited access to the TikTok account of the German AfD politician Maximilian Krah, writes Politico. Krah is a member of the European Parliament (EP), leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) list in the EU elections in June.

However, TikTok is no longer willing to recommend her videos, and the platform has deleted five videos she shared.

All of this is due to "repeated violations of our Community Guidelines," a TikTok spokesperson said, adding that Krah "shared conspiracy theories in his videos, such as the Great Swap Theory."

The "Grand Remplacement" - French for Grand Remplacement - is an explanation of the replacement of the native population with immigrants, as formulated by Renaud Camus, a gay right-wing sovereignist French writer, in his 2010 and 2011 books L'Abécédaire de l'in-nocence and Le Grand Remplacement. in his novels.

According to him, immigration was consciously assisted by the "pro-exchange elite".

An aide in Krah's European Parliament office said the politician's team objected to the decision and was "trying to clear up the misunderstanding." The ninety-day ban will be lifted after the European elections. German voters will go to the polls on June 9.

According to the portal's analysis, the far-right politicians labeled by Politico are better on TikTok than their political opponents: more and more of them register on the platform faster and gain more followers and likes than their competitors.

With the EU digital services law, it wants to force platforms such as TikTok, Meta Facebook and Instagram to more strictly control and moderate political content before the EU elections in June, the portal adds.
