Bandi feels that he has become a victim of a concept lawsuit. Endre Kónya also felt that...

As we have already reported, the court sentenced András Fekete-Győr to a suspended prison sentence.

As is known, the prosecution brought charges against Bendegúz Szarvas Koppány and András Fekete-Győr for the smoke grenade thrown at the December 2018 demonstration and the subsequent pushing. In May 2023, they were both acquitted of the charge of violence against an official in the first-instance verdict, but the prosecutor's office appealed, so the case has now been decided in the second-instance. András Fekete-Győr was sentenced to one year in prison, but this was suspended by the council for two years of probation.

The ex-president of Momentum may be behind bars

"The third degree is coming, we will appeal"

The politician was recently a guest on ATV's show, where he nailed it, in his opinion

is currently the victim of a concept lawsuit.

He said: "we are in a concept procedure. Those who lived through the state socialist times may have seen or read about such things". The former leader of Momentum said that in 2018 they demonstrated for the Hungarian people, and the presenter noted that he was not punished because of the demonstration. András Fekete-Győr simply replied: "of course".

The opposition politician then went on to say that he was found guilty in the second degree because of the attitude of the prosecution, while the verdicts are not handed down by the prosecution, but by the court. Fekete-Győr responded: "I will not condemn the court, we will continue, so

the third degree is coming, we will appeal and hope that they will acquit"

he looked into the future.

András Fekete-Győr also responded to the post of István Hollik, Fidesz's communications director, in which the ruling party politician asked "whether he will accept political responsibility, i.e. resign from his parliamentary mandate and withdraw from public life". To this Fekete-Győr replied:

on the contrary. If anything, it makes you stronger, this party-state regime wants to suppress politicians."

i.e. he will not resign his parliamentary mandate.
