The Hungarian national football team, which is preparing for the summer European Championship, defeated the visiting Kosovo team 2-0 on Tuesday in a friendly match at the Puskás Arena.
In the first meeting between the two teams, Dominik Szoboszlai took the lead with a rebounding shot in the 58th minute, and Zsolt Nagy set the score in the 86th minute. In the person of Attila Mocsi, who came in as a substitute, Marco Rossi inaugurated a new team, who with his 61st match overtook Kálmán Mészöly in the third place in the ranking of the federation captains.
The Hungarians are now undefeated in 14 matches, the last such long streak was achieved by the legendary Golden Team after losing the World Cup final in Bern in 1954. Puskás did not find a winner in 18 matches.
The national team will next play as a guest of the Irish in Dublin's Aviva Stadium on June 4, as a direct preparation for the European Championship.
