For days, the opposition media has been vocal about the discrediting campaign against András Csaba Dézsi and his wife. The current mayor of Győr, on the other hand, had had enough and together with his wife denounced those who wanted to return to power as loose cannons.
Borkai's man, Péter Hajtó, claims that he saw how András Csaba Dézsi pushed her to the ground and knelt at his wife's side, Telex wrote on Thursday.
On Friday, András Csaba Dézsi published a short post only in response to the accusations, in which he wrote:
• I asked Vera: is there still a need for worm drives in 2024?
• He replied that this year the dog doesn't even need it!
"Please read my slightly longer post," wrote the mayor of Győr on Facebook on Saturday morning, explaining his position as follows:
"I am sure that such a vile and lying attack, like the one by Zsolt Borkai, who was previously fired from the Fidesz-KDNP faction due to his ethically and morally unacceptable behavior, and who nominated this "sheet acrobat" as an honorary citizen of Győr (!) is a fire hydrant from Győr in front of the general public The attempted character assassination of Péter Hajtó, who is damaging and cursing rudely and drunkenly on stage in front of the crowd, and their background team helping them, which my wife and I have carried out in the past few days, obviously cannot go unpunished legally.
Weeks ago, my wife and I both filed a complaint with the police for the crime of slander and coercion committed in a criminal association, because witnesses prove that these morally unacceptable people, whom the left-liberal media is now carrying on the palm of their hands, tried to blackmail us by discrediting us with primitive lies in front of the country-world.
Vera, my wife and I are happy, we've been living in a loving marriage for 20 years now, as you can see for everyone, just like many others.
Our life is an exemplary and open book for everyone and we have nothing to hide. It is certain that we are not perfect either, but it is also certain that we are perfect for each other
The police have already started the investigation, so all previous and further crimes committed by the shameful and cowardly team of Borkai-Hajtó, who hide behind pseudonyms and post vile lies, only aggravate their actions.
Believe me, Vera and I are shocked by this, that this can be done in this way in Hungary today and that a well-respected married couple, who have selflessly helped everyone throughout our lives and will continue to help everyone, is given space in the media.
In the course of our lives, we have overcome many difficulties and obstacles. During our life-saving work, in the heart center we founded and built with our colleagues, "we have successfully coped with death so often, every day".

It won't be any different now
I ask you to continue to honor me with your trust and not to believe the false character assassination attempts against me and my family that will presumably continue during the next eight week campaign period.
These people are not actually attacking Dr. Dézsi, but the values I represent, which mean order, safety, calm and a healthy living space for the people of Győr.
We can't allow pitián criminals and big businessmen who previously controlled the city and ex-mayor Borkai to return to Győr's political scene
I was entrusted with leading our beloved city to success after the Borka disgrace. The past four years of work, which my colleagues and I have done with the help of the people of Győr, have been successful and exemplary. Public opinion polls also support this, that a significant majority of people living in Győr think so.
I will continue the work of the mayor and the cleansing of Győr from crime, which I started 4 years ago, and I will no longer deal with those who defame Vera, my beloved wife, and me for no reason. Because with these
criminals should be dealt with by the police.
