Sándor Czomba said: there are still reserves in the labor market for the age groups over 50 and under 30, the aim of the program launched on Monday is to increase employment.
The Youth Guarantee Plus program helps young people under the age of 30 who are no longer studying or working to gain work experience.
The first and most important element of the program is wage support:
the government takes over 50 percent of the gross wages from employers for four or six months. If the workplace is more than 60 kilometers away from the place of residence, the registered young job seeker can receive a subsidized rent of HUF 186,000 for a maximum of one year

He added that travel allowance can also be claimed if the workplace is within 60 kilometers of the place of residence. The amount of this can be HUF 10-12 thousand per 10 kilometers per month.
Change of profession, retraining
The fourth pillar of the program provides the opportunity to change professions and retrain. During this period, financial support of up to 150 percent of the current minimum wage can be given to participants in adult education, he pointed out.
Sándor Czomba said that government programs and a large number of investments starting in the eastern and southern regions of the country can help young people find employment and increase employment.
As we reported, from April 15 you can apply for the Youth Guarantee Plus program, financed by the EU, which is implemented with roughly HUF 200 billion. The purpose of this is to prevent youth inactivity and promote the employment of those under 30, which can greatly help meet the labor demand of the economy. By 2029, the program will enable the integration of 84,000 unemployed and inactive young people into the labor market.
