Left-wing politics is trying to make it impossible for the sovereignist, anti-migration, and pro-peace forces to speak out in the capital of Europe.
As we reported , the pro-peace and anti-migration National Conservatism Conference in Brussels, NatCon, ended in scandal. The mayor of Brussels gave instructions, referring to which the police asked to cancel the event.
Balázs Orbán, the prime minister's political director, said in an interview with Hetek about the antecedents: the NatCon conference has already been held several times in the United States and in several places in Europe, including London, Rome, and once even in Brussels, but the
what they have just experienced is quite unprecedented.
"The Belgian authorities, as well as the violent, radical left-wing antifa groups, are doing everything to prevent the event from taking place. The owners of two venues were also forced to cancel the conference. When it was possible to start the event at a third location, the head of the Belgian local authorities issued an unprecedented banning decision, unthinkable in a democracy," explained the political director.
According to Balázs Orbán, the fact that the authorities banned the event held at a private venue citing the speakers' worldview and conviction on moral issues proves that "left-wing politics in Brussels are trying to make it impossible for the sovereignist, anti-migration, and pro-peace forces to speak in the capital of Europe. "
He also added that the police did not only prevent the speakers and guests from entering, but did not allow food or drink for those inside and even threatened to cut off the electricity.
The prime minister's political director warned against anyone treating Tuesday's events as an isolated incident.
"This is obviously a systematic thing, a consequence of the politics of the past years. It is obviously a consequence of the fact that in today's European Parliament, the so-called European public discourse is defined by left-wing, socialist, radical, liberal, green-party, violent political actors, for whom none of what is important to us regarding Europe is important, only the propagation of their own ideology. and bringing it to success," said Balázs Orbán.
