The world has become a dangerous place, everyone is afraid that the Israelis' war against the terrorist organization could turn into a conflict between countries - Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told Kossuth Rádió Good morning, Hungary! in his show. Meanwhile, there is the Russian-Ukrainian war in our neighbor and unrest in the Balkans. As long as the country has a national government, Hungary will not intervene on either side of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he added.

This is no longer just a matter for the peoples living there

According to the prime minister, everything must be done in the Middle East so that the conflict does not turn into a war, because it will no longer be a matter for the peoples living there, but also ours, because it will lead to refugees, war destruction, new economic expenses and costs. apply for Europe.

"However, there is a war atmosphere in Brussels regarding the Ukrainian case"

said the prime minister. While we are talking about the Russian-Ukrainian war, the leaders in Brussels are talking about it as their own war. We have now come to the point where it was seriously considered that Europe should send soldiers to Ukraine, which opened a new chapter in the war. According to Viktor Orbán

the big question now is whether Hungary can survive the second chapter of the war.

"It is not a question of who we want to remain, and as long as a national government is at the head of Hungary, we will not intervene on either side of the Russian-Ukrainian war," declared the prime minister.

How can we avoid this?

asked the presenter, adding that pro-war voices are also coming from NATO and the EU.

Viktor Orbán said that as far as NATO is concerned, it is a defense system. Hungary joined because, as he said, if a NATO member country is attacked, the member states come to its defense, but there is no question of attacking a country together.

The Prime Minister stated that the Union is not a military organization, but the member states have military capabilities.

Viktor Orbán emphasized that he always works to avoid the situation where money belonging to Hungary ends up in Ukraine instead of our country.

The prime minister said: diplomacy must take back its role and Ukraine must be given as little money as possible.

The Prime Minister said:

freedom of speech is in bad shape in Western Europe.

"Liberal societies have emerged in which the factors that shape public opinion, such as the media, universities and politicians, have become uniform," he pointed out.

Viktor Orbán reminded that, for example, in the German press, regardless of the political side, there is no difference in issues such as illegal migration.

In relation to the banning of the conservative NatCon event in Brussels, he emphasized that this is just one example of the restriction of freedom of speech.

"But people are also disadvantaged in the workplace" if they form an opinion that differs from the mainstream.

As he said, there are examples based on which people in Western Europe can pay for free political opinion formation even by losing their jobs. In connection with the banning of the conservative conference in Brussels, he also spoke about the fact that the authorities threatened the hotel that provided the venue, as well as the company that catered for the guests.

Viktor Orbán reminded us that in our country there is space for both conservative and liberal opinions in the public, and all forms of opinion can appear on social media. And here, no one suffers a disadvantage because of their publicly stated opinion.

"Today, without Hungary, without the Hungarian people and without the Hungarian government, there is no freedom in Europe," he underlined.

European leaders do not want to stop migration, they want to manage it

"I just took part in a conference in Brussels, where I brought up the Soros plan, which everyone in the West claims does not exist," emphasized the Hungarian Prime Minister. He added: "Meanwhile, György Soros himself wrote it down, he signed it, he published it. I read it at the conference. There was no evidence that this material existed either," he added.

Viktor Orbán said that in this 2015 study, a six-point plan is presented on how to resolve the migration crisis.

  • The first proposition: that one million migrants must be allowed into Europe every year.
  • Second point: since the Union does not have enough financial support, issue bonds and take out loans.
  • The third point: The EU should create safety zones with the countries that send out migrants so that they can reach Europe with as little risk as possible.

The essence of the plan, according to the prime minister, is to "break Europe apart, push back Christianity, suppress traditional European values and create a mass, economically profitable, mixed society," the prime minister underlined.

Viktor Orbán emphasized that European leaders do not want to stop migration, but rather manage it.

"Meanwhile, we are saying that no one should tell the Hungarians who we want to live with"

Viktor Orbán said.

According to the prime minister, if migrants are allowed to cross the border, those people will never go home in their lives, even if their applications are rejected. He called it a key issue where migrants should wait while their applications are processed.

The farmers are right

The Prime Minister considered the agricultural demonstrations to be closely related to the war and grain dumping in Ukraine, which is a consequence of the war. - We can protect our own market, we are able to supply twenty million people, our problem is that we cannot sell our surplus crops to the European market, we are losing our markets and our income because of the cheap Ukrainian grain - he said. According to him, this threatens the farmers' livelihood, which is why they adopted a five-point action plan.

The Ukrainian oligarchs and the big American companies buying up the Ukrainian territories are winning the deal, that's why the farmers are revolting, and they are right

Viktor Orbán stated.

War or peace

The prime minister said about the work of the EU leadership: the green transition, the strengthening of the middle class, the management of migration have failed, "we are in a war until the end", but the leadership of the union has failed in all its important goals, they must go, they do not deserve another chance. – We are in an election campaign, we have to shoot and fill, that is, we have to fight and represent our opinion. I want to tell people that the most important issue is war.

There are two paths before us, pro-peace or pro-war.

– The Hungarian left, which receives its money from Brussels, and the Brussels bureaucrats are pro-war, we and the European people are pro-peace. We need a pro-peace majority in Europe, this is the stake of the election , Viktor Orbán pointed out.

Viktor Orbán said, "for the Hungarian people, this is not a war in which we are also involved". When I listen to the leaders in Brussels, he continued, they talk about this war as if it were their own war, they are in it.

Said,

they started by sending helmets, then weapons, tanks, then the planes came, and now they are talking about, after losing "their war", that sooner or later soldiers will have to be sent as well.

The Prime Minister put it this way: the situation is difficult, there are pro-war governments in Europe, Hungary is alone, only the Vatican is still in the position of peace. According to Viktor Orbán, Hungary must persevere because he expects that the pro-war European thinking will crack.
