In the ILCA 6 boat class for sailors, European champion Mária Érdi took the lead in the world rankings.

According to the press service of last year's Olympic quota world champion and this year's WC seventh athlete, Érdi topped the rankings for the first time in his career.

"I am happy that I can prepare for the five-ring games as the first Hungarian in the Olympic boat class as the world leader"

- the announcement quoted the best Hungarian female athlete of 2023, who is preparing for her third Olympics. He added: he is currently concentrating on the World Cup in Hyéres, and considering the tasks ahead, he considers his place in the world ranking encouraging.
