The pro-war French president is not expanding, he is still preparing for a world war, and he has come up with another amazing idea.

Emmanuel Macron's enthusiasm for war does not seem to be waning: this time he spoke about his willingness to discuss the use of French nuclear warheads in the face of Russian threats. According to the Paris leader, this could be part of "authentic European defense", Politico wrote.

I am in favor of opening the debate, which should cover missile defense, long-range missiles, nuclear weapons for those who have them or who have American nuclear weapons on their soil, Macron said in an interview with regional media.

He added: France preserves its peculiarities, but is ready to contribute more to the defense of Europe.

Let's put everything on the table and see what really protects us, he added.

The Brussels news portal's article notes that France, which has around three hundred nuclear warheads, is the only nuclear power in the European Union.

In recent weeks, the French president has taken an increasingly tough stance against Russia: in recent months, the Paris leader refused to rule out deploying troops to Ukraine.

By the way, this is not the first time that France proposes to use its own nuclear weapons to protect the EU.

According to the Politico article, Macron first hinted at this as a possible move in 2020, when he called for a strategic dialogue on the role of France's nuclear deterrent in Europe's collective security. Paris subsequently repeated the offer in 2022.

So far, Berlin has not accepted the French president's offer. However, in January, Manfred Weber, head of the European People's Party, told the Brussels news portal that Europe should take into account Macron's proposal.
