It is not yet known how a Russian spy drone could have reached the Tambov Roma.
Moscow Times reported . Law enforcement authorities are investigating how the drone got to the Roma.
Orlan-10 is the latest Russian drone developed and manufactured by the St. Petersburg company "Special Technology Center" (STC). The drone is designed for reconnaissance and surveillance. At the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Orlan-10 was also used in a strike version on the front.
For this purpose, it is equipped with shrapnel-resistant mini-bombs converted from VOG-25 ammunition and intended for under-barrel grenade launchers, and then launched from a catapult.
The Orlan-10 is the largest series-produced domestic drone used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. STC chief designer Roman Ivanov claimed that Ukraine is trying to copy the drone, but such vehicles lose to the original. Those who find a drone anywhere are instructed to move at least 100 meters away, do not use nearby radio equipment, mobile phones and GPS devices, do not touch the device with their hands and report the find to the services.
