Sadiq Khan, representing the largest British opposition force, the Labor Party, won the office for the third time: first in 2016, and then again in 2021, he was elected mayor of London with a population of 9 million.
"London is also a member of the Association of Free Cities founded in Budapest, our goals are common: to build a green, inclusive, solidarity city"
wrote the mayor of Budapest.
"Congratulations to Sadiq Khan who has been elected Lord Mayor of London for the third time"
