The Russian president cut out the heart of a deer and gave it to his Italian friend, according to the shocking story.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who died last year, maintained good relations for more than twenty years. On Sunday, the website of the Italian daily Corriere della Sera published an interview with Italian politician Fabrizio Cicchitto, who had insight into the relationship between the two leaders. He also shared a story that has not been made public until now.

Berlusconi told him that back in 2013, he and Putin were on vacation together, during which they once went hunting. Then the Russian president shot a deer and gave its heart to the Italian politician on a wooden tray, saying it would make an exceptional dish.

When Berlusconi recounted the incident, he said that he saw Putin's violent nature, which he could not have imagined from such a kind and rational person.

Another interesting thing about the story is that Berlusconi never took a rifle, he even refused when the Russian president called on him to shoot - at that time they were hunting two deer.

"This is yours. Shoot,” Putin said.

However, Berlusconi refused and Putin shot both animals. Certainly, Berlusconi did not expect Putin to present him with the heart of a quartered deer. Seeing the gift. he ran behind a tree and threw up.

By the way, the two politicians remained on good terms even after the Russo-Ukrainian war, Putin directly called Berlusconi a true friend after Berlusconi's death.
