It is located in Bükkszentkreszt, at the entrance to Uncle Gyuri's herb garden.
At the age of 94, in December 2022, the herbalist from Bükke, uncle Gyuri, beloved by many, passed away, whose mission and commitment to medicinal herbs is carried on by his daughter, Zsuzsa Lopes-Szabó.
Uncle Gyuri's memory is also cherished by the thousands of people whom he helped overcome their illnesses with his herbs and advice, and whom he always welcomed warmly in his herb garden in Bükkszentkereszt.
On May 4, the garden opened its doors again to those who would like to discover for themselves the typical herbs of folk medicine.
The garden, which is open until November 30, is a living picture book of medicinal plants, where thousands of specimens of more than 150 species of medicinal plants can be admired in their true form, in nature.
A headstone was recently inaugurated in Bükkszentkereszt in memory of the herbalist from Bükk. The headstone was located at the entrance to Uncle Gyuri's herb garden.
