They might not even keep it anymore.
After careful consideration, we finally decided that the Szeged Fish Festival will not be held this year
– the Szeged International Tisza Fish Festival announced the news on its social media page.
Frank Sándor, the Venice Prize-winning master chef and the main organizer of the event, told Szeged365 that they considered holding the festival and decided that it was not worth organizing, unfortunately it was not profitable.
He doesn't know yet whether this is only for this year, or whether we can't count on the big fish pattern in Szeged in the future either.
In 2021, due to the coronavirus epidemic, the gastronomic festival was canceled for the first time in a quarter of a century.
