The Russian president sees that the Ukrainian leadership "does not consider the fallen soldiers as its own".
The Ukrainian army is unable to turn the tide of the war, and the more attempts it makes, the more losses it will suffer, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters in Tashkent on Tuesday. "They fail to make a breakthrough in the situation on the battlefield. And the more the attempt, the greater the loss, and
the losses are far from in favor of the Ukrainian armed forces"
Putin said.
"This is the problem and tragedy of Ukraine today, they do not consider these people as their own. Today they are not protecting the interests of the Ukrainian people. I hope people will eventually feel that.”
he added.
