Campaigning is also allowed during the voting period, with the exception of the 150-meter area around the polling stations.

There is no general campaign silence, but the electoral law stipulates that no campaign activities can be carried out on public land within a radius of 150 meters from the entrance of the building housing the polling station.

An election rally cannot be held on the day of voting.

Furthermore, according to the 2014 guidelines of the National Election Commission, members of the electoral bodies may not wear symbols promoting a candidate or a nominating organization on their clothing in the polling stations.
