Gergely Karácsony wants to pay the garbage collectors through a press trial - this is clear from the video published by Magyar Nemzet. When asked by journalists how they will be able to pay the benefits that were promised during the strike, the mayor laughed and answered: we will sue you. In several parts of Budapest, you could still see a lot of trash cans full to the brim after the waste haulers did not start work for three days, M1 News reported.

Garbage is falling out of the bins: paper and plastic are piled up on the streets. Even on Saturday morning, the people of Budapest were greeted by this sight. In several places, for example in the 13th district, the waste was not taken away either.

However, the garbage haulers went back to work after the Metropolitan Municipality promised them that they would receive a one-time gross overhead subsidy of HUF 200,000 and a Christmas bonus of HUF 120,000 gross.

"How can they pay for these benefits they have just promised?" asked Gergely Karácsony the Mediaworks reporter.

"We will sue you and the money won from the rectification lawsuit," replied the mayor.

So Gergely Karácsony said: the garbage collectors will be paid from a press trial.

Gergely Karácsony laughs at the garbagemen's money - that's what Origo wrote. The portal adds: the mayor repeatedly got involved in lies and failed in recent days when he talked about the capital's lack of money to raise wages.

He justified the low wages of the workers by saying that, in his opinion, the state-owned Kukaholding did not return HUF 15 billion to Budapest in the last three years.

The national waste management company, on the other hand, immediately denied Gergely Karácsony's claims.

Not only less, but more resources were provided than in the past. This year alone, HUF 1.4 billion more was transferred to the capital than was received from the garbage fee, and an additional HUF 1 billion was paid on top of that.

Garbage haulers stopped work early Tuesday because of low wages.

The strike atmosphere was only heightened by the fact that, according to them, the left-wing city administration spread untruths about their salaries.

After their wage papers also verified the garbage haulers, they finally reached an agreement with the Budapest Public Works.

A recording of the negotiations reached Metropol. On this occasion, Imre Mártha, head of the capital's utility companies, spoke to the workers in a unique, as the portal put it, amazing style, and proved that there is enough money in the garbage company.

On the other hand, the indignant garbage collectors said that the price of the clothes shown on it would be included in their several months' wages.

Imre Mártha arrived at the FKF premises one day driving a garbage truck - Metropol also captured it. On the other hand, he left in his luxury car, with a 2 million HUF luxury watch on his hand, according to the newspaper.

The Mediaworks Hírcentrum created a compilation in which the utility manager sings about the work of the poor. According to the report, it seems as if Imre Mártha is deliberately provoking his colleagues.

The capital has no cover for this

- It is a good and noble goal, but since the capital does not have the funds for this, it is likely that this amount will be missing from other public services - Gábor Bagdy, the representative of the Fidesz-KDNP in the capital city, responded to the request of Magyar Nemzet about the fact that not only garbage collectors will receive an extraordinary overhead subsidy of 200,000 forints , but employees of all companies and institutions in the capital. According to Gábor Bagdy, the city administration led by Gergely Karácsony should give such support when the capital has the money for it. According to the estimate of Deputy Mayor Ambrus Kiss, the extension of the utility subsidy could cost Budapest five and a half billion forints.

Mayor Gergely Karácsony continuously led the public opinion regarding the waste haulers' strike

- declared the leader of the Fidesz-KDNP faction in Budapest at his Budapest press conference on Friday.
