The parliamentary faction leader of Párbeszéd announced his decision on his Facebook page even before today's voting ended. According to him, the Párbeszéd has become increasingly, and with its classification under the DK, completely unfit to serve the green cause.

“Today I left the Dialogue; from now on, I will continue my work as a green, independent opposition parliamentary representative of Buda and as a member of the Buda Green community - said Bence Tordai, member of the parliament, leader of the Párbeszéd faction, on his social media page on Sunday. According to his reasoning, he decided because the board of Párbeszéd decided that the party will run on the DK list in the 2024 EP elections as well as in the 2026 parliamentary elections," Bence Tordai wrote on his social media page.

In his announcement shared on social media, he wrote, among other things:

"Párbeszéd has become more and more, and with its classification under DK, completely unfit to serve the green cause, which is why I have to leave my previous political home with a heavy heart."

According to the former co-chairman of the party, "the agreement with DK and MSZP was not a collaboration, but self-surrender ".
In addition to these, Tordai harshly criticized his partner. He wrote:

" the Dialogue is also morally worn out due to the many, sometimes downright bad political compromises, as well as the lack of political courage ". Regarding the party's organizational culture, he said: its operation is worthy of a green party, and "it is not suitable for the successful operation of a national party organization."
