"We have evidence from 20 districts that valid votes were counted as invalid," said Dávid Vitézy at his press conference, noting that the Metropolitan Election Commission also takes this position.

According to the candidate who finished second in the mayor's election, there is no final result, and they will appeal.

According to Dávid Vitézy, a recount of the votes is inevitable due to the closeness of the results. He said that he and his team tried to uncover all the wrongdoing. "There is no legally binding final result, we will appeal the decision of the Capital Election Commission," said Dávid Vitézy, adding that the responsibility for organizing and conducting the election was the capital's.

24,592 invalid votes were cast, there were 78 percent more invalid votes than in the list voting, there was a significant deviation in some districts

- said Dávid Vitézy, who believes that drawing attention to the unfairness of the unequal distribution of invalid votes, the IV. and VII. district was blatant.

That is why Vitézy Dávidék is asking for a recount of the votes

According to him, the way Alexandra Szentkirályi's name was drawn on the ballot differed from district to district, and each district used a radically different practice. Vitézy believes that the Metropolitan Election Commission is responsible for this. There were cases where, in his opinion, the name of the ruling party candidate was drawn out in an invisible way.

Voters may have been greatly misled by the different practices

- he said, adding that the numbers also confirm this finding, since the number of invalid votes was significantly lower where the government party candidate was drawn properly, the VII. in the district, for example, more than double, 6.08 percent of the votes were invalid. Vitézy believes that many votes may have been invalidated due to the problem of double counting, so the invalid votes must be re-counted, as the Metropolitan Electoral Office also noticed this problem on the day of the vote, which is why they sent clear instructions to the polling stations.

In at least 202 polling stations, otherwise valid votes were declared invalid

- he stated, adding that votes were wrongly invalidated at the system level, while it is not known how many such invalid votes there may be, they will definitely request a recount and appeal.
