And who cares about serving justice? It seems that there is no one in Brussels. Written by Tamás Lipták.
Ilaria Salis is therefore released, while the proceedings against her must be stopped for at least five years, as long as her immunity is not suspended. And this may have an impact on the outcome of the entire "antifa case", considering that it is the prime accused.
The Italian anti-fascist "teacher", who never taught full-time, arrived in Budapest in February 2023 to carry out "anti-fascist activities" in the Hungarian capital. In practice, this meant that in groups, armed, they attacked people in a vile way and beat them up. Of course, everyone already knows this, but it doesn't hurt to record it constantly, because some people regularly forget to mention it. As it cannot be repeated enough:
it was not at all their fault that he did not become a fatal victim of the series of attacks.
Of the more than a dozen perpetrators, the Hungarian authorities finally managed to capture only three people, including Ilaria Salis, who was clearly identified based on her clothing. Since then, Salis and the far-left continue to blame the victim, and they also try to make the perpetrators themselves victims of the system. That is, to the "fascist" Hungarian government, which is detaining, chaining and handcuffing this tall "teacher" for the sole reason that she is anti-fascist. And not by any chance because he was able to commit acts of terrorism as a member of a criminal organization,
even if the Hungarian authorities did not have enough courage to say the latter.
Ilaria Salis has now been given the opportunity to continue her fight against the radical right in the European Parliament. All of this clearly abusing the already completely flawed concept of immunity, which now belongs to the perpetrator. Let's recall the chronology once more: Salis came to Budapest with his companions to beat people to death. He was arrested and taken into custody as the number one accused. A year later, his regrets began in Italy, at the end of which this simple little criminal got an EP mandate. The person who, thanks to this, is released from a case that has nothing to do with the work of a representative, in fact, he committed it before he was even a politician.
The case of Ilaria Salis could go down in the history books as the veterinary horse of Western democracy, which is otherwise difficult to take seriously.
He was not elected as a representative because anyone knew him or because he was the most suitable candidate who could assert the interests of Italians. They didn't put an x next to his name because he could make the European Union better with his outstanding professional knowledge. Ilaria Salis was put on the ballots only because she was made a victim in a case in which, according to all video recordings, she sided with the perpetrators, leaving no chance for defense to those who were attacked. Of course, brave antifas are just that. As long as they are outnumbered, they are relentless anarchist fighters against the far right.
