We live with the incompetent man's bee pastures until the pollen season hits. But this is no longer a joke, but a matter of public health. More and more experts spoke on the subject, who claimed that weedy, unkempt "bee pastures" are especially bad for people suffering from pollen allergies.

But there is another important aspect, which Zsolt Láng, the leader of the Fidesz faction in the capital's assembly, spoke to Magyar Nemzten about. These "bee pastures" have dried up in the heat, and are therefore extremely fire-hazardous.

The politician's concern is not unfounded, as the disaster management previously informed the newspaper that due to the heat, dry vegetation can easily cause a huge fire outdoors even with the slightest inattention, so motorists who smoke should not throw burning cigarette butts out of the vehicle, because the dry roadside vegetation can catch fire very easily.

In Budapest, a wildfire can easily develop on Gellért Hill or around Tabán due to the dried-out vegetation. And in countless larger, high-traffic streets in both Pest and Buda.

As you know, a third-degree heat alert has been issued for the entire country until midnight tomorrow. If this passes and no "bee pasture" catches fire, another heat wave will come, then a third. And this means that the incompetent mayor is gambling with the citizens of Budapest.

This is certainly not in your job description.
