The organizers will donate the ticket revenue of the Night of the Museums in Székesfehérvár to the Regőczi Foundation, thereby helping the Covid orphans - emphasized Balázs Hankó, the future minister responsible for culture and innovation, on Saturday in Székesfehérvár, one of the key locations of the Night of the Museums this year.

Balázs Hankó also got involved in one of the Night of the Museums programs in Székesfehérvár, during which Mayor András Cser-Palkovics and tour guide Mariann Kulcsárné Németh guided visitors through the historically significant building of the town hall of the former Hungarian crowning city. After the leadership, Balázs Hankó emphasized that Hungarian culture must be made attractive and accessible to everyone. He added: as a former coronation city, Székesfehérvár should be a crystallization point in making culture attractive.

He reminded that the Night of the Museums program series is taking place for the twenty-second time this year. This year, 460 locations and 2,800 programs await those interested throughout the country.

Balázs Hankó recalled that last year 380,000 people took part in the Night of the Museums, 11,000 of them right here in Székesfehérvár.

Mayor András Cser-Palkovics called it an honor that Székesfehérvár is one of the capitals of the series of national cultural programs this year, and that the historical and cultural values of the city can be presented as a central location.
Every year, and this year especially, the Night of the Museums is a huge celebration of culture, said the city manager. In Székesfehérvár, fifty programs await visitors at 15 locations this year.

Among the programs, the mayor previously drew attention to the joint exhibition of the Military History Museum and the Szent István King Museum, the Chinese exhibition in the István Csók Gallery in cooperation between Szeged and Fehérvár, and the visitor center of the Coronation Basilica, where, among other things, curatorial guided tours await those interested.
