The Poles and the Italians clashed over Hungary.
The second largest party of the European Conservatives and Reformers (ECR) group, the Polish PiS, is threatening to leave, Brussels Signal reports.
According to the newspaper's information, the party of former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki demands that they be given the same weight in the European Parliament as the party of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
According to the portal's sources, another reason for the conflict is that PiS complained that Meloni did not help Fidesz join the ECR.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced at his press conference in Vienna on Sunday with Herbert Kickl and Andrej Babis: they are creating a political formation that will become the largest faction of the European right.
