It would not be favorable for the President of Ukraine if Donald Trump were the President of the United States again.
Ukraine has again started looking for the opportunity to contact Russia for a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war, reports Bloomberg.
According to several people familiar with the matter, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has a very simple reason for this, as it may be in his interest to reach an agreement before the American elections in November, as there is an increasing chance that Donald Trump will return to the White House.
The Republican presidential candidate previously promised that if re-elected as president, he would end the war, and even
later he argued against the continued military support of the United States to Kiev.
However, the news agency noted that some US officials denied reports that a summit between Russia and Ukraine would take place in the near future.
