The excitement in the home area was even greater than usual, when we entered the yard, we found a bunch of Weimaraners, they were running in all directions in terror

Melinda Csepcsik, the head of the Halas Zoo, told the portal.

The shocked dogs took hours to be caught and quarantined.

Instead of bringing them out during business hours and asking for help, the perpetrators simply threw them over the fence, eight in number

said the manager, who also said that the skin had come off one of the dog's legs and cuts were also found on it. He is believed to have been injured when he was thrown over the fence.

The animals are not in good condition, some of them, the smaller ones, are malnourished, bones and skin are one another.

According to Melinda Csepcsik, it is also extremely dangerous to throw dogs over the fence in this way, because in addition to causing extreme stress and injury to them. Their behavior also becomes unpredictable, but it is also impossible to know if they have any disease. If they come into contact with the other animals in the shelter, they can become infected, which in extreme cases can cause the other animals to die.

Newly adopted dogs are first quarantined until they pass sterilization, deworming and receive the various mandatory vaccinations, only then can they be around other animals. The staff of the animal shelter in Halas do not want to leave the current case without consequences, they ask that those in whose surroundings, in the neighborhood such dogs suddenly disappear, report to them, they want to find out the owner of the dogs.
