Sustainable development cannot be imagined without the growth of families - the Minister of Justice stated in his presentation at the 10th European Large Family Conference organized by the National Association of Large Families and the European Large Families Confederation in Keszthely on Friday.

On the opening day of the three-day conference, Judit Varga emphasized that not only the environmental, but also the social and economic pillars of sustainable development must be taken into account. He put it this way: authentic environmental and climate protection is the basis of a family-friendly policy, because it ensures a healthy environment and a sustainable life for present and future generations. The government's priority goal is effective action against climate change, which is why, as part of the climate and nature protection action plan announced one and a half years ago, they support the purchase of electric cars for large families, as well as the installation of solar panels and modern heating solutions, the minister reminded.

Anita Herczegh spoke at the opening , drawing attention to the support of families with children.

János Áder greeted the participants with the words of monk Csaba Böjte at an event with the motto "The cradle of sustainability is the family" He said: at the Keszthely conference , people who stand up for families with children will meet, who themselves are raising more children, while supporting family organizations, needy families, and children.

Katalin Novák, minister without portfolio responsible for families, greeted those present in a video message at the opening. The minister called the family and unborn children the key to sustainability. He put it this way: the child is a "resource" for his parents, his family and the entire nation.
