More and more people are worried about the swimmer.
On Thursday morning, the second group of swimmers left for Paris. Kristóf Milák did not keep up with the others. Of course, this is not surprising, as Csaba Sós already hinted on Wednesday that Milák is expected to fly to Paris only at the end of the week. We hope it will be so. It is worrying that his coach, Balázs Virth, does not know anything about the Olympic champion and world record holder for a week.
The news that Kristóf Milák did not travel to Paris caused considerable uproar on Wednesday. After all, the news could have been brushed aside, of course not, since according to the plans, Milák will only fly to Paris with the second group of swimmers on Thursday morning.
Well, he didn't fly on Thursday either. Csaba Sós, the captain of the Hungarian swimming team, told the Magyar Nemzet on Wednesday that he predicted and explained why Milák will only travel at the end of the week, or why he will stay at home until then. This was the essential element of Wednesday's information.
We could say that everything is in perfect order, it is logical that the defending Olympic champion and world record holder in the 200-meter butterfly will only get on the plane at the end of the week. After all, he only has to compete on Tuesday morning - in the preliminaries of the 200 butterfly - in the following days he can prepare more calmly at home than in Paris. For example, our men's water polo players only travel on Fridays, they play for the first time on Sunday.
Again, we could say that everything is in the best order. Unfortunately, no.
According to Magyar Nemzet, Milák's coach Balázs Virth has not seen his world-famous student for more than a week. Which, even if Milák the Father himself is the nurse, mentor, and professional support, is nonsense.
We may have doubts. Let's trust him, this is just another mysterious step, a prank - but for whom? –, and Kristóf Milák will arrive in Paris at the end of the week.
Then on Tuesday, he will start first in the preliminary race, then in the middle race, and in the final on Wednesday, he will defend his title.
Only a few days left and the moment of truth will come.
