The volume commemorating the forty Hungarian soldiers who earned the Hungarian Gold Medal of Valor was recently published under the title HAJLÍTHATATLANOK, written by Roland Maruzs and János Szentváry-Lukács.

The award, founded on April 14, 1939, was the highest among the crew members of the Royal Hungarian Armed Forces. Among the donors, we find members of the former Ragged Guards who defended Munkács against Czechoslovak forces in January 1939, prominent figures of the Don battlefield or the most outstanding heroes of the Galician battlefield. The weapons and military deeds they carried out come to life on the pages of the book, in several cases the interested reader can get an idea of them from their own recollections, including many descriptions that were not known until now.

Each published war act is different, but they all share the fact that they exemplify standing, courage and camaraderie. The book was published by Dextramedia Gyártó, Kiadó és Szolgáltató Kft.
