Based on the government's decision, it will be easier for those who choose a special form of taxation and primary agricultural producers to get state-subsidized loans, primarily for housing purposes, the government spokesman announced on Friday in Budapest.

Eszter Vitályos told Kormányinfo that for those choosing the special form of taxation, it can be difficult during the credit assessment that not the entire income is considered income, but only the part of it defined in the legislation. Therefore, they cannot apply for the given loan, or only for a smaller amount than necessary.

In order to make it easier for the affected families to participate in the opportunities that support home building and family formation,

the government allows at least 50 percent of their income to be considered as income for credit evaluation.

Those affected only need one year of social security status instead of the prescribed two or three years

- informed Eszter Vitályos.

This opens up the opportunity for many thousands more special taxpayers and primary producers to use this kind of help for their childbearing, the government spokesman emphasized.
