One of the biggest gastronomic sensations of this summer was the pistachio flame, available on the shores of Lake Balaton. The creation of the Oliva beach buffet won the title of the best at the beach food of the year competition.

For the tenth time, the Balatoni Kör organized the only beach food competition in Europe, in which prizes were awarded in several categories. In the buffet category, this year a special flamboyant won the title of best, from Alsóörs, thanks to the Oliva beach buffet.

A special flavor on the flame: pistachio and basil pesto

The winning flame of the competition not only pampers the taste buds, but also sets the bar high in terms of creative innovations. The Oliva beach buffet enriched the classic flame with toasted pistachios, which is unique and special in itself. In addition, the basil pesto also received a new dimension from the pistachio, which is in perfect harmony with the pasta.

The taste experience is further enhanced by the addition of cherry tomatoes and parmesan shavings.

The ingredients not only complement the flavors, but also make the sight unforgettable. The professional jury especially highlighted the serving style of Olivia Büfé, which sets an example for all beach food providers to follow.

The price of the pistachio flame is HUF 2,500, for which you get a real gastronomic experience.

Pride for the operator, gastronomic experience for gourmets

The Olivia Büfé is operated by Fogas Bisztró, which expressed its joy and pride regarding the award on its social media page. "It is a great pleasure and a great honor for us that the pistachio pesto flambé of the buffet belonging to our interest became the winner of the beach food of the year competition in the buffet category," they wrote on their social media page.
