He testifies about this: "So that I don't see the government's looting and decline of the capital, the deselected decline of society, the agony of the intelligentsia bought with cheap money and kept on a short leash."
It's ridiculous that the sentence above makes about as much sense as the aging ex-mayor, i.e. nothing, and it only contains half-truths.
If there was still some decency in this figure, he would not be chanting the same mantras as the perpetrator Gy. Ferenc and his entourage. Because Budapest was looted not by the government, but by Gergely Karácsony and the gang installed around him, so much so that it even led to bankruptcy.
It is true that reality can be veiled for a while with hundreds of tricks. Especially in the way that the "bleeded out" city scatters 200 million kroner among its vassals, rewarding nothing, and even that the same amount of fines were collected during the reign of the CEO of BKK. That alone is worth an 11 million reward, isn't it?
But assuming, but not allowing, that the government "loots", where can we classify the 20 years when the brave Demszky was at the head of the city?
After all, between the 4 years of the MDF government - which was about getting out of the cesspool - and the 4 years of the first Fidesz government, a "great" Horn government and then an excellent MSZP-SZDSZ coalition led the country towards the abyss for two cycles. Were they also looted, bled to death?
Come on, Comrade Demszky, are you allowed to be so forgetful?
If I remember correctly, during the time of the man on the run, 163 billions disappeared from the budget of metro 4, thanks to a magic show unknown to this day. Somehow it doesn't even come to mind that the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) found 77 irregularities from the time the SZDSZ totem fact was active.
Demszky will surely be happy to move to a place where many cute little migrants flow, after all, he is very accepting and a champion of tolerance. It was also when Comrade Gergényi led an attack on peaceful commemorators, shot eyes, kicked people and beat them to death with his police officers.
Demszky, who was very accepting and tolerant, liked this so much that he even awarded the samesa of the main terrorist. Because that was the peak of democracy and inclusion, but today you see the "de-selected decline" of society, whatever this incomprehensible comment means.
At that time, they did not select, they hit young and old, children and grandparents indiscriminately, very democratically, without discrimination.

When I mention the disastrous time of the Demszky era, I have to realize that the memory of many is really only valid for a few days. Of course, if we compare it to today's mayor, we could even look back on those disastrous decades, but we'd rather not.
Maybe the passage of time makes everything beautiful, but it won't be beautiful after fourteen very ugly years.
Gabika runs away because it is impossible to live here. Where too? To Croatia, Istria, where his modest villa stands tall. How many Hungarian state employees managed to scrape together enough for a villa in Istria?
Demszky draws the line. Finally! We will get rid of a guy who recently wanted to pour a bottle of water on Dani Bohár's neck. We remember this action of your child with laughter, the rest can only make us want to cry. However, we are happy to note that it is more spacious outside of it.
What can we say about this? His like-minded followers could really take a cue from him and apply the admonition of the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill film: Push it!
