This episode of the series "On the Way of Values" was filmed in Transylvania, where the coordinator of the Kuvaszok a Karpátokak program told about the current situation and history of the breed, as well as how these brave dogs help to protect flocks from increasingly frequent bear attacks.

The hirado.hu team visited Transylvania, where they were able to observe up close how our guardian and protective shepherd dog works for two years.

István Szabó, the coordinator of the Kuvaszok a Karpátokak program, told the staff about the current situation and history of the breed, as well as how these brave dogs help to protect flocks from increasingly frequent bear attacks.

Through the personal stories of farmers and shepherds, viewers can get a glimpse of how kuvas became indispensable companions in the beautiful regions of Transylvania. Hirado.hu's series "On the Way of Values" presents Transylvania's landscapes, magical traditions, and fascinating architectural wonders transformed over the centuries.

Each of the episodes shown every week is a new chapter in the exciting book of our common heritage, where the past and the present meet, during which lives and stories come to life.
