The Digital Citizenship Program has started.

The Digital Citizenship Program started on September 1, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office announced on Monday in a video uploaded to his Facebook page.

Csaba Dömötör stated that the soul of the program is a mobile phone application, which will allow more and more cases to be handled without waiting in line.

If someone has downloaded the program and completed the necessary registration in the government window, they will receive a notification on their mobile phone in the next few days, from then on they will be able to use the application, explained the politician.

Among the advantages of the application, he mentioned that from now on you will be able to prove yourself to the police with a mobile phone, you don't have to carry your ID card with you. All personal data will be found in the application, there is no need to look up, for example, the TAJ number, car data or ID numbers separately, he listed.

According to Csaba Dömötör, the new application will make it easier and faster to access state interfaces. This will help on approximately 200 public websites, such as magyarorszag.hu, eSZJA and Egészségablak.

Csaba Dömötör emphasized that instead of complicated usernames and passwords, it will be enough to scan the QR code displayed on the page with the digital citizenship application on the phone.

He added that with the application it will also be possible to book an appointment at government offices, and with the press of a button it will be possible to request a moral certificate.

"We encourage everyone to participate in the Digital Citizenship Program, all you have to do is download the application and complete a short registration at one of the government windows. It only takes a few minutes, so that we can save a lot more by being able to handle more and more cases from a mobile phone," said Csaba Dömötör.
