The world meeting of Unitarian, Unitarian-Universalist and women of other denominations will be held in Cluj between September 5 and 8, at which attention will be drawn to the need for peace, the press service of the Hungarian Unitarian Church announced.

The world meeting organized for the fourth time is organized by the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women (ICUUW) and the National Union of Unitarian Women (UNOSZ) in partnership with the Hungarian Unitarian Church.

The organizers remind you: ICUUW is a worldwide partnership of Unitarian-Universalist women, which focuses on women's rights and public participation, and works to improve their situation.

The Cluj-Napoca meeting draws attention to the need for peace "in ourselves and in our communities" and also offers an opportunity to promote relations between generations, the organizers write.

Renowned invitees as well as Unitarian women from Transylvania and Hungary are expected at the conference of more than 150 people, which is taking place with significant international participation.

The opening ceremony of the event will be held on Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. local time. The program includes a number of round table discussions - among others on the role of female entrepreneurs and violence against women - with the staff and volunteers of the Unitarian Church's Providence Relief Organization, as well as with Ukrainian refugees.
